Tapiko License Agreement
This is an agreement between you (the User) and the developer of the Tapiko app (the Licensor). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not install the app, and delete it if it is installed.
1. Parties
Licensor: Artem Romanchenko, an individual, Ukraine.
"Bridges Community" is the name of the project under which the apps are published. There is no separate legal entity behind it: all rights and obligations under these documents rest with the individual named above.
Contact: bridges@bridges.net.ua.
App: Tapiko, identifier com.lextiks.tapiko.
2. License
The Licensor grants you a free, non-exclusive, personal, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The license is not a sale: the app is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted by this agreement are reserved by the Licensor.
3. What is not allowed
- decompiling, disassembling or reverse engineering the app (except where expressly permitted by mandatory law);
- passing the app off as your own, selling, renting or sublicensing it;
- circumventing technical limits, interfering with the server side, accessing it bypassing the app or overloading it with automated requests (including the film, game and book search);
- using the app for illegal activity or to store unlawful material;
- using someone else's account.
4. Account
The app requires Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID. The Licensor may suspend or terminate access in case of a material breach of these terms.
5. Your content
Collections, items, ratings, notes, covers, photos, habits and any other content you create belongs to you. The Licensor claims no ownership of it.
You grant the Licensor a limited technical right to store, reproduce and transmit this content solely to operate the app: showing it on your devices, syncing it and displaying it to the people you shared it with yourself. Using your content for any other purpose is prohibited.
You are responsible for what you add, including the rights to photos and images you upload yourself. You can get a copy of all your data at any time: Settings → "Export data…".
6. Friends and challenges
By adding someone as a friend, sharing a habit with them or inviting them to a challenge, you knowingly show them your name, avatar and the content you shared. What is visible is described in the privacy policy. You can stop sharing and remove a friend at any time.
7. User content, reports and blocking
Names, avatars, habit and challenge names that other people see are created by users. The Licensor does not review them in advance but has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
It is prohibited to use, in a name, avatar, habit or challenge name, content that offends, threatens, harasses, incites hatred, is sexually explicit, infringes the rights of third parties or is unlawful, and to send spam or unwanted requests.
If someone breaks these rules, you can immediately:
- Report - on the "Friends" screen, in the menu of the person or the request: "Report…" and a reason. The report reaches the Licensor right away. You can also write to bridges@bridges.net.ua with the subject "Content report".
- Block - in the same place, "Block…". The person disappears from your friends and can no longer send you a request; you can unblock in Settings → "Blocked".
- Remove from friends or leave the challenge.
The Licensor handles reports within 24 hours and, depending on the outcome, may remove objectionable content, restrict or terminate the offender's access to the app and, for serious or repeated violations, delete their account.
8. Third-party data
Autofill (if you turned it on) takes titles, descriptions, ratings and covers from TMDB, Steam, IGDB, Wikidata and Wikipedia, Google Books and Open Library. This data belongs to its respective owners and is provided on their terms; the list of sources with links to their terms and licenses is in the app: Settings → "Data sources". The Licensor does not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. Descriptions from Wikipedia are distributed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license with a link to the article.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
9. Tracker and Health
The habit tracker helps you keep habits and is not a medical device. Health data (steps, floors, stand hours) is shown as is, without medical interpretation; do not use the app for diagnosis or treatment.
10. Price
The app is free. There are no ads, paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features appear in the future, they will be additional, and existing functionality will not become paid retroactively.
Your carrier may charge for data transfer - this is beyond the Licensor's control.
11. Service availability
The app runs on third-party cloud infrastructure. The Licensor does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the preservation of data in case of a provider failure and is not responsible for interruptions of Google, Apple or autofill services.
Keep your own copies of important information - "Export data…" is there for that.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and of being error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.
Since the app is provided free of charge, the Licensor's total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app, that is zero, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law (in particular for intentional acts or harm to life and health).
14. Termination
You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account (see Account and data deletion) and the app.
The Licensor may terminate the license in case of your material breach of these terms or if support for the app ends. You will be notified in advance of the end of support so that you can export your data.
15. Changes to these terms
The terms may change. The version on this page is the one in force; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept them.
16. Special terms for the App Store (Apple)
These provisions prevail over the other provisions of this agreement in case of conflict.
- Parties. This agreement is concluded between you and the Licensor, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app and its content.
- Scope of license. The license to use the app is non-transferable and applies to Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
- Maintenance and support. All support is solely the Licensor's responsibility. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support.
- Warranty. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (zero for a free app). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
- Product claims. The Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app: product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims.
- Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, the Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of the claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Contact. Questions and complaints about the app should be sent to bridges@bridges.net.ua.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it against you.
17. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer living in another country, you are additionally protected by the mandatory laws of your country - this agreement does not override them.
