Website Privacy Policy
This policy covers the bridges.net.ua website itself. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from that app's page.
1. Who processes the data
Artem Romanchenko, an individual, Ukraine.
"Bridges Community" is the name of the project under which the apps are published. There is no separate legal entity behind it: all rights and obligations under these documents rest with the individual named above.
Contact for any data-related matter: bridges@bridges.net.ua.
2. In short
The site is static: a set of pre-built pages. There is no sign-up, no forms, no shopping cart, no comments and no user account.
- No analytics platforms (Google Analytics or similar).
- No ad networks, banners or social media trackers.
- No cookies set by this site - which is why there is no cookie banner.
- No sharing of data with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. What data is processed anyway
3.1. Web server logs
Like any website, bridges.net.ua runs on a server that automatically records incoming requests. The log contains:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| IP address | protection against attacks, incident investigation |
| Date, time and requested page | diagnosing errors |
| Browser and operating system (User-Agent) | compatibility, bot detection |
| Referring page (Referer) | finding broken links |
These records are created and stored by the hosting provider (HOSTiQ, Ukraine) within its standard log retention period. I do not use them to build visitor profiles and do not combine them with other data.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - keeping the site secure and operational.
3.2. Email correspondence
If you write to bridges@bridges.net.ua, I process your address, your name if you give one, and the content of your message - solely to reply and, where needed, to resolve the issue you describe.
Messages stay in the mailbox for as long as the correspondence requires, then are deleted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering enquiries; for data protection requests, compliance with a legal obligation.
3.3. Browser storage
The site writes nothing to localStorage and sets no cookies.
4. Who receives the data
- The hosting provider (HOSTiQ, Ukraine), as the supplier of the hosting service, has technical access to server logs.
- The email provider, which handles correspondence.
- Public authorities, only in cases directly required by law.
Data is never sold and never shared with ad networks or data brokers.
5. Your rights
Under the Ukrainian Personal Data Protection Act and under the GDPR you have the right to:
- know what data about you is processed and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Ukraine - the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights; in the EU - your local data protection authority).
To exercise any of these rights, write to bridges@bridges.net.ua. I will respond within 30 days.
6. Children
The site is not aimed at anyone under 13, or below the higher age of consent for processing personal data where local law sets one. It does not knowingly collect any data about them.
7. External links
The site links to Google Play, the App Store and other external resources. Once you follow such a link, their own privacy policies apply - I have no control over what they collect.
8. Changes to this policy
If the policy changes, the updated version appears on this page and the date at the top changes. Earlier versions are kept in the site's change history and can be provided on request.
9. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Ukraine. For users in the European Union, the GDPR applies in addition.
